Nancy:
I will always remember Chick as a good friend and as a mentor that helped me in my paper making career. I was so glad that I had the chance to talk to Chick as we were able to talk about our paper making days. He will be missed.

My dear Nancy,
I haven't looked at the Redding newspaper for over a month, and was shocked to open the paper today and find Chick's obit. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the kids.

Chick was a wonderful caring person, artist extraordinaire, plus being a great cook to boot. It was always well worth the effort of bagging all those english walnuts to give to Chick just so we could have those yummy glazed walnuts.
