F. Willis Vickery

Acmar is often a start for pastors. We are so grateful to have had Willis as one of those pastors. It is great to have a Christ connection with him and his sharing of the Gospel. Our prayers are with the family. Surely, Willis was met with, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Blessings from the current Acmar pastor.

I was saddened to read of Willis's death this morning. I remember him vaguely, but I do remember you from your tenure at Fairfield UMC way back when I was almost too old to be considered a youth. Reason: Fairfield never quite knew what to do with high school graduates who didn't go to college and still didn't quite know where we fit in once we did graduate from BSC in my case and wherever for others.
