F. William Busselberg (Bill), 86, 24 April 1919 - 3 May 2005, was born in Vornhagen, (near Hannover) Germany. While still young his family was introduced to the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and were baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They later immigrated to the United States and settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His studies in music and organ at Brigham Young University were interrupted by military service during World War II. After his discharge he served a two year mission for the LDS Church in the New England States Mission. Upon returning he married his eternal sweetheart, Gertrude Moeller (who preceded him in death in 1982), in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with five children: Val (deceased), Jim, Tom (ReNae), Kurt, and Sheri. Bill is also survived by two grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer, and numerous family and friends. Bill served in many volunteer positions in the Church but directing choirs and playing the organ were his primary loves. He served as an ordinance worker in the Mesa LDS Temple for more than 20 years. Viewing, Friday 6 May, Bunker's University Chapel, 3529 E. University Dr., Mesa 6-8 p.m. Funeral, Saturday 7 May, LDS Evergreen Ward, 1345 E. University Dr., Mesa 11 a.m., viewing one hour previous.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Busselberg Family.
I have many fond memories of Bill playing the organ in the Milwaukee Ward when I first joined the church in 1969.
One memory that makes me chuckle is when Bill told about an organist position he held at a Protestant Church in Milwaukee. He said that he would play background music for communion. To Kurtlein, Sheri, Jim and Tom: What a blessing for us to have known your Dad while he was on the Earth, and what a blessing to know the happiness he and your Mother now have, together at long last. We will all miss him. His musical talent, his great sense of humor, his knowledge and wisdom will be very much missed. We are grateful for the Plan of Salvation that gives us eternal perspective.
