Not sure what to say?

When Doug moved to Old Miakka in 1951, we became friends. Our friendship remained throughout his life. As teenagers we spent many hours together riding horses, camping, fishing, etc. In 1960 Doug served as Best Man in my wedding. He was a wonderful friend and we will miss him and treasure our memories.

I am very sorry that Doug passed away. I would like to get in touch With Billy Beck and Ronny Beck his brothers my email address is [email protected] My mother was his God Mother so he was my God brother.

We always cherish the memories we shared with Mr. McKnight. He was a great person. We are so sorry for your loss. Please accept our deepest condolences.

Always a pleasure to work with. Such a kind-hearted soul. He will be missed.

I have known Doug since the late 1970s when I started practicing law in Central Florida. Doug was a true professional and absolute gentleman. He will be missed.

The Korean War Veterans Association Department of Florida and Chapter 173 Casselberry send our deepest condolences on the passing of our Brother In Arms F. Douglas McKnight (US Navy Reserve 1954-1963 Japan, USS Hood DD655 communications officer, USS Hunt DD674 Operations Officer). He served his country well and honorably. May he Rest In Peace.
