Fa’atamali’i Sema Pritchard, beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, in Morgan Hill, California, at age 86. Born in Apia, Samoa, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother known for her generous spirit and open heart. An accomplished entrepreneur and baker, she operated multiple businesses while serving her community through nursing and faith. Fa’atamali’i held an unwavering love for her homeland and proudly represented American Samoa in the 1963 South Pacific Mini Games. Ibbha, and Shiloh, as well as the daughters she helped raise with maternal love, Repeka, Liva, and Ana. Her nurturing spirit extended across generations, embracing a host of 45 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, each of whom inherit her strength, warmth, and sense of purpose. She is also remembered by her siblings Nanai Tiavolo, Tinousi, Ailini, Tiava, Su’e, David, and Tala, who stood by her through seasons of joy and sorrows, bound together by shared memories, faith, and the values passed down from their parents.
