Fabian Glen Vasquez Montague, 24, of San Marcos, Texas was taken by our Heavenly Father on July 9, 2011. Fabian will be remembered as a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and uncle. He will be remembered as a loving, sensitive and caring young man who enjoyed life to the fullest and knew no strangers. He was a good friend who always had words of encouragement. His friends describe him as �a person who made the world a better place with his smile� � �full of happiness� � �a beautiful soul.� Fabian was a 2005 graduate of San Marcos High School and was involved in several student organizations including SMHS Choir, student council and National Honor Society. He was a licensed Real Estate Agent, a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at the University of Texas-San Antonio, and was currently attending Texas State University completing a degree in Political Science. Family Visitation will take place on July 14th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm with public visitation from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at the Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos. Prayer Service will begin at 7:00pm officiated by Pastor Mark Newton. Funeral service will take place at 10:30am on July 15th at the First Baptist Church, 325 W. McCarty Ln, San Marcos. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale. Fabian is survived by his parents, Jack & Gloria Montague, father, LeRoy Vasquez, sister Kimberly Garza-Prado and (spouse) Louie Prado, half-brother, Isaac Francisco Vasquez, step-sisters Mandy Montague , Misty Montague, and Brett & Mindy Montague-Bailey, nephews: Andrew and Nathaniel Montague, Weston and Wyatt Bailey, and niece, Victoria Montague . He also leaves to cherish his memory his maternal grandmother, Aurora Gonzales, a host of uncles and aunts: Dale Huerta, Yolanda & Johnny Pavia, Olga & Michael Armstead, Sylvia De La Cruz & Frank Oballe, Jesse & Gail Gonzales, Oscar & Deborah Gonzales, Robert & Rosalinda Gonzales, and Saul & Ramona Gonzales, special uncle: Jerry Vasquez, numerous cousins and an extended family. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Cesario �Pop� Gonzales and his paternal grandparents, David Daniel & Virginia Vasquez. Pallbearers are John De La Cruz, Michael Armstead Jr., Justin Gonzales, Elijah Gonzales, Jeremy Gonzales and Andrew Montague. �Our angel Fabian� we love you so much and will miss everything about you. You loved your family and friends with the deepest of your heart. You are now in the company of the classiest of all� Our God and Jesus Christ. : ) We love you cousin.� Priscilla Young
