I grew up a few doors from Faith on Grand View Terrace in Albany New York. Faith was very Beautiful both inside and out. She had the most gracious parents in Freida and Fred and Her mothers saintly love and concern for others was instilled in this wonderful women. I have not seen Faith in years, however, I am very sadden at our loss and will truly miss Her spreading of goodness, yet knowing God has brought home one of his very special children.

Deepest sympathy and prayers as I learn today of passing of Faith. Many memories of department events and celebrations to which she added a degree of eligance rarely seen. I owe so much to you for my early career path and her unfailing support of you as Chair is a. If part of that and of the success of the department under your leadership.

I first met Mrs. Gill when I came to the department of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh. Her husband, Dr. Thomas Gill, was the previous department Chairman, respected and loved by all faculty. Mrs. Gill was the epitome of grace, kindness, manners and erudition. She always provided console to staff in their life troubles. Everybody thought of her as a person to confide to. After 25 years, she is very remembered and highly respected by all those who were in the department at the time....

My sincere condolences on the passing of Faith Gill.
