Not sure what to say?

I was sad, very sad, to hear of her passing! :-( A 1974 grad of MAHS, Fannie provided sooooooo many great times and memories for me and many others growing up in Minersville! Will always remember the .25 draft beers, a Quarter for the juke box, shooting darts until 2AM, shots of Jack at the bar, helping her tend bar when things got too busy, Yuengling Quarts to go in brown paper bags, all the ‘tomatoes’ (that’s what she called all the young babes!)……and anyone remember...

Some of my most favorite memories of my youth revolve around Fannie and her business. she was a wonderful woamn who always had a smile, a joke or a story. we used ot laugh when she would talk about the "bear". When her Christmas card came back this year,I knew something was wrong but I did not know it was this serious. She will be in my thoughts and prayers always. My sympathy goes out to your family in this time of loss.

Prayers & heartfelt sympathy for the family.

May God bless and comfort all of you.

Dear Babs and family,
Sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Think of your extended family often. In fact, will be back in Minersville this very weekend.

Love and Prayers,
Hanie Keyso (married as Joan Taylor-Miller in Newark, Delaware

Dear Matt and Family,
We were saddened to learn of your grandmother's passing. She was one special lady, an icon to many Her bar was legendary, but not as much as Fannie, the businesswoman, neighbor and loved one.
My Dad (Big Jim) used to walk up to her place for a soda and on occasion, I would go with him. It as so much fun to just listen to their stories. What a great memory. I wish I could turn back time and be there again or had just a few more of those kinds of visits....

Mrs. Whit, Missy, Mike and Fannie's countless friends, loved ones and family members:

I think for a large portion of years I spent more time around Fannie that just about anyone else in my life. Going to see her was the same feeling you would get in your own home. She had a smile for anyone and knew everyone by name. If the names escaped her, she would ask one of us "who is that tomato or young lad". When my dad passed away (22 years ago) I went for a drive and ended up @ Fannie's. ...

Babs;very sorry for the loss of your mother, she was a great lady, and will be missed by all a friend.
