Fannie Rowe, 91, a homemaker, died Sunday, April 23, 2006, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Beth-Eden Missionary Baptist Church, 3208 Wilbarger St. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday at historic Baker Funeral Home. Wake: 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Fannie was born Aug. 9, 1914, in Rice to Mose and Minnie Jones. She married Clovis Rowe on Nov. 16, 1936, and settled in Fort Worth. A longtime member of Beth-Eden Baptist Church, she served in the mission and Sunday school. She was a member of the Hillside Neighborhood Association and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors: Son, Charles Rowe; niece, whom she reared as her own, Betty Johnson; grandsons, Derek Rowe, Lamon Graham and Chevis Allen; brothers, Willie Jones (Harriet), Ernest Jones, Roy Lee Jones (Pearl) and A.U. Jones; sisters, Mable Moffett (Roy E.) and Mattie Hall; sisters-in-law, Bessie Peterson, Cora V. Haynes and Annie M. Rice; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
