Waterford - Fannie W. Twitty, 95, of Waterford passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025 at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. She was born July 16, 1930, in Green County, N.C. the daughter of Doremus and Eliza Vail Williams. She was the wife of the late Melvin Twitty who died in 1999.

Mrs. Twitty is survived by her children and a host of friends and relatives.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Madry Temple Church, 25 Manwaring Street, New London. She will be interred with her late husband in Arlington National Cemetery, at a date to be scheduled. A complete obituary will be published at www.Byles.com.
