Focus on Religion and Fun
Her religion was the most important thing in Farah Jeudy's life. "Everything revolved around that," said her sister-in-law, Suzette Jeudy. Three times a week, Ms. Jeudy, who lived with her parents in Spring Valley, N.Y., attended a Jehovah's Witnesses meeting with her mother.
But while she was religious, she was far from somber. She loved traveling in the Bahamas and being with friends. "Anyone who ever heard Farah relate a story may not remember the story," according to a tribute read at her memorial service, "but they can remember laughing until their sides hurt."
Born in Haiti, Ms. Jeudy, 32, came to this country as a child and later graduated from Baruch College. For eight years, she left home at 6 a.m. to commute to her job as an administrative assistant at the Aon Corporation. But if one of her nephews was taking part in a Jehovah's Witnesses meeting, Ms. Jeudy would always be there, not caring that her trip home would be even longer.

Woke up today with you on my mind. I rejected your smile but as ever. You were a beautiful person. I can´t let go of the memory of you at the window as i left the building. Wish i had called out to you and the others to get out with me. This will forever weigh heavy on my heart. love to you girl.

Waiting for promises from our Creator to be fulfilled. For a certainty as morning day and night comes, we will see you again. We miss you. Soon we will see you.

Almost 20 years, the promise is still REAL, we wait for its fulfillment. To wake up in Paradise and you see all your family and friends. You are missed but Never Forgotten. Jehovah our Creator knows your name and will call it. You are remembered.

Sending our continued sympathy to your family for the loss of Farah. Words will never take away the pain but may God's support continue to be with you everyday. May the time finally come when there will be no end to peace and families will never have to be separated because of the violent acts of others.
