Father Bernie was a great man. He gave me an opportunity to play the organ for Mass on Saturdays at Saint Mary's when I was only 12 years old. I played there during his pastorage for about 4 years. He was a great mentor and friend. He always had a great message on Saturdays. I'll never forget him.
