Hello Cindy and Lisa.
So sorry I did not know about the funeral on December 2nd. I would certainly have attended. Faustina was a good friend and mentor to me. She took me under her wing and gave me opportunities to excel. She will always be very special to me. You both were wonderful daughters and I know she was so proud of you and her grandson. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that others care and remember Faustina fondly.

Faustina you are one person I know prayed for me everyday. I will forever hold onto the lessons of life you taught me. Thank you and rest in the glory of the one you loved the most of all. To the family God will always bless you for the love, support and joy you both gave her, l will always be your big sister!

My deepest sympathies to the Brown family. Mrs. Brown was my sixth grade teacher at Powell Elementary School in 1957. In 1982, Mrs. Brown worked with me to help elect David Clarke as Chairman of the DC City Council.
Mrs. Brown was a wonderful teacher and an even more exceptional person. She will be greatly missed.
