Read MoreI worked for Fay at Wills Gym at Kent State from 1963-1966 while my husband was a student. She was amazing and left a lifelong impression on me. I helped her with her Doctorate Dissertation from Ohio State and her book Foundations for Fitness. We all loved, respected and admired her and her accomplishments.

I had Dr. Biles for PE during my freshman year at Kent State in 1966. She left a memorable impression. I'll never forget her description of the effects of gentian violet on certain parts of the male anatomy. How this figured into gym class, I don't remember.

Faye was my phys ed teacher my freshman year at Kent. I remember her as serious about her subject and having high standards. It appears that that served her well in her long life. I had no idea that she was not living in the area or of her relationship with the Reigner family. I will hold all of you in the light as you say your farewells to this fine woman.
