Fay Marie Rogers Eames died July 6, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident. She was born 18 February 1956 in Melbourne, Fla., to Howard L. Rogers and Alice Fay Rasmussen Rogers. She married Jerry Douglas Eames on Sept. 6, 1980, in Logan, Utah. They were later sealed in the Cardston Alberta Temple. She was the mother of three wonderful daughters: Alicia, Amanda and Jessica. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. She lived most of her life in the Logan 2nd Ward. In her younger years she worked as a dental assistant and very much enjoyed the interaction with people. Fay had many talents and was especially gifted at tole painting. She enjoyed painting things and giving them as gifts to friends and family. The love of her life, however, was her family. Her girls and grandchildren brought so much happiness to her. She was always quick to share pictures and stories as many a Wal-Mart or Smiths checker could attest. Even though her health issues limited her mobility, Grandma's lap was always available for the grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Eames, daughters and sons in-law Alicia (Brad) Williams, Amanda (Sam) Lima and Jessica (Brian) Andrews, as well as her grandchildren, Jaden and Mason Williams, Spencer Lima, Braxton, Kari and Maddison Andrews and Kyler Byington. Fay was anxiously a waiting the addition of two more grandchildren this year. Also surviving: John (Janis) Rogers (brother) and Ruth Ann (Larry) Mann (sister). She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be July 12 at 11:00 am at the 1st and 2nd Ward building, 89 S. 200 West in Logan. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 11 and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the same location. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fay Marie Eames charitable account at America First Credit Union. Funeral arrangements by Serenicare Funeral Home in Providence Utah. I was so sad to read that Fay passed away. I remember her when I was a little girl and honestly I can remember the way she smelled and that I always loved her nails.
