Painting by Fay Sproule in the CSPWC Diploma Collection

On behalf of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, we would like to express our deep sadness in our loss of Fay Sproule. Fay was a dedicated painter and was a mentor for many within our society and she will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathy goes to Bruce and the family. - love from all of the CSPWC, warmly, Rayne Tunley, President CSPWC

Bruce, I loved Fay's art for the mood & the colors. Her content was inspiring. I remember her show at LAC & possibly she was wearing her stunning Kimono -like jacket from her daughter. She was a very classy lady. Obviously Meghan felt the same way & the reference to the White Queen is delightful.I know you were proud of her.Sincerely, Cheryl Sloan

Life well lead here on earth.
God bless

To Bruce and family,
Please know that our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Fay will be missed, as a friend, an artist and a tireless worker in the arts community. May memories of happier days keep her close forever in your hearts.

Condolences to Fay's family from her VAMily at Visual Arts Mississauga. We wouldn't be here without her vision for a strong and vibrant arts community in our City. We are grateful for all the work she did to found our organization and support others - the Living Arts Centre, Mississauga Arts Council and the Art Gallery of Mississauga and we vow to continue her work into the future.

As a matter of fact, I was convinced that Great Aunt Fay was actually the White Queen from Alice in Wonderland. Many years later, when my son Carter was born, he received a parcel in the mail addressed very properly to Master Carter. The card read from Great Great Aunt Faye. The gift was a very soft...

Our deepest sympathy goes to Bruce and family. Fay was a woman of so many talents, a kind and caring person. Her art work epitomized her love of nature and of beauty. She will be missed by her friends in the art world and by all who knew her.
