Faye Barker Adams

I continue to miss my good friend and co-worker. Her insights and opinions mattered and were appreciated. I especially miss her wry sense of humor and some of those creative dishes she would come up with. I've enjoyed getting better acquainted with Faye's sister Verna in our phone conversations. Faye always referred to her sister as "my sis." It was a long time before I actually knew Verna's name. I know it was a difficult year for Faye's family to celebrate special occasions and holidays...

Faye was a really good friend and will be greatly missed. She was my beach buddy. We went to the beach together every year since 2011. We talked and texted the day before she passed away as we planned and scheduled our next beach trip to coincide with her grandson's wedding the end of May. She was excited about the wedding and the beach trip.
