Not sure what to say?

I remember Faye Alexander because I was a neighbor of her brother Marvin in Glencoe and was a nephew of her sister Lillian Shlopack of Highland Park.I knew more OF her than much direct contact although there were occasional meetings because of extended family events. My deepest belated condolences. I had a recent phone call with Faye's niece and my cousin: Lois Shlopack Bagley Elisar (of Baton Rouge, La

I just now learned of Faye´s passing. My mom and "dad", Betty and Jim also resided at the Oaks. I thouroghly loved your mom´s presence whenever I was visiting. I so admired her intelligence and love of adventure. Her energy continues...

My parents and Faye and Joel were friends all of my life and I´m 77. I last saw Faye a few years before my mom passed and before she lost all of her memories. I picked Faye up in the burbs and brought her to see mom in the city. When my husband died in 2017 Faye sent me the most beautiful letter of love and advice on how to keep living as a widow. May her memory be a blessing.

Faye was a great inspiration, enjoyed her wit. We went to water aerobics together Sincerely Carol Cox

I met the fabulous Faye when I was her tour director on a two-month cruise when she was about 96. What a hot ticket she was! I'd often find her at one of our exotic port calls holding hands and communicating, regardless of language, with a native in the doorway of their home or perhaps at a vendor's stall. It might have been a very elderly person (who she would dazzle by telling them her age) or a little child. Thank you, Faye, for showing us the world as it should be.

We would like to go to the celebration of Faye´s life. She was amazing, bright, resilient, determined, opinionated and fashionable. She always looked like she walked out of a Vogue shoot. In her late 90´s, she was still driving. She grabbed life and all its energy at every moment she could. She never gave up despite two recurrent cancer episodes and loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally. She was a role model to all of us. She loved Bernie and he cherished their relationship....

Faye has been an inspiration to so many of us at the pool! Her friendship was golden. She will always be remembered and in my

Our dear Faye, 10 years ago we spent 3 months together on an educational cruise to Southeast Asia. She was energetic, intelligent and the life of the cruise. We miss her.... Ginger and David Maiman, Buffalo, NY

How can I be sad, she had a great and wonderful lifeI will miss he dearly and our martinis together. She prepared me for this, I think she felt I couldn´t handle her passing. I smile and each recollection is a happy and heartwarming reminder of how lucky I was she choose me to be her friend.
