Not sure what to say?

I never took my grandma for granted, I always felt so lucky to have her in my life. But these last few weeks, I have missed her so terribly and I can't believe how much space she filled in my life and my heart. I am treasuring all of our moments and memories, her hugs and her smile and how interested she was in my life and what I was writing that week. Thanks grandma for all your gentle guidance and wisdom and the gift of your love. I love you and miss you every day.

I had the pleasure of meeting Faye last June when she let Karen (her grandaughter) and I stay at her house to be closer to the half marathon we were running the next morning. I felt so welcomed and cared for! She greeted us with snacks and drinks and made sure we had enough to eat. We chatted for a couple hours and it was so lovely. I feel very special for meeting her even if it was only once, because even that one time created a spot in my heart for her. She is missed but I know she is...

Faye graciously welcomed me into her home for a family party. She was so sweet and I admired her sense of style and humor. What I will remember most about Faye is her kind eyes and the way her entire family revered her. My condolences to her loved ones and to the community that loved her.

I love you Mom with all my heart. You are my best friend and I love you more than words can express.

I had the great pleasure of serving "Miss Benson" at Von"s Pharmacy when she would come by. I told her one day I was embarrassed I couldn't remember her last name even though she was a regular customer. So I told her I would remember each time by looking at her pretty blue eyes and then I could remember her last name started with a B! She just smiled that lovely smile of hers and it worked. I will miss her greatly, as I know her family and friends will; she was a sweetheart. My condolences to...

Grandma we love you so very much and miss you so much. You will always be with us cheering us on. Every memory will be cherished and you will never be forgotten as the best grandma. I am so grateful to have spent the last several months with you. I hope to make you proud every day.
