Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to Dr. Roger Hutchins, husband of my Nebraska Wesleyan University roommate my sophomore year at Rass House before we pledged a sorority in 1953...and to their three children. Faye was an outstanding student at NWU from 1952 to 1956. Faye and I received each a scholarship to teach kindergarten our junior and senior years at NWU. Faye Martens was my roommate at Rass House our sophomore year at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Lincoln. She dated. Roger Hutchins, a pre-med major at NWU in 1953-1956 when they graduated from NWU . My deepest sympathy goes to her husband if 69 years! And to her children! She was one of two students-who were given a $1000 scholarship to have a mentor to learn how to teach kindergarten in her junior and senior years at NWU! ( I was the other student receiving a same scholarship.). We remained...

Faye was, as many have said, the most wonderful person. She was warm, friendly, caring, and concerned about our community. My husband, Stuart, worked with Faye, as together and with others, they set about getting kindergarten into our public schools. She was relentless because she fiercely believed in the importance of early childhood education and she was part of the driving force behind our kindergarten program as it is today. All of us owe Faye a huge debt of gratitude on behalf of our...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I met Faye because my daughter, Penny Klabunde taught with Faye. She was such a delightful lady and was so helpful and kind to Penny. One of my favorite memories was the baby shower she had for Penny.

Mrs. Hutchings.. Brooke and Jeff couldn´t have had the finest, sweetest teacher! Thank you for teaching one last year so Jeff could have a great start! She was so genuine and caring! May you rest in peace Faye Hutchings

Faye was indeed, one of the the nicest people I ever met. I am holding you all in love and light.

Faye and Roger were one of the major reasons we came and settled in Medford. Faye was the quintessential hostess, making us feel so comfortable as newlyweds in the Rogue Valley. She was a wonderful cook and one could only dream of acquiring a mere portion of her graciousness. Nancy and I often felt she would be the essence of a nurturing grandmother and teacher.

Faye Hutchings loved and was loved. She will be missed. In lieu of flowers or planting a tree, her family requests that donations by check be made to the RVM Foundation 1200 Mira Mar Medford, OR 97504 memo: Fairy Godmother from Faye´s friends
