Faye Carter Olsen

Everybody loved Faye - fun loving, laughable, smart, loved life to the fullest and everybody was her friend. I can still here her talking and laughing. Many good memories at Church Magazines!! Beautiful poem Faye wrote and sounds just like her - no fuss but her memories will always linger. So sorry for your loss.

I am so grateful for having the privilege of working with Faye for many years at the Church magazine office. She was such a wonderful woman. I will always remember her with much fondness, and a smile in my heart. May the Lord's comfort and blessings be with you, Roy, Kelly, and Lori.

My heart is full of love for Faye. She is my second mom. Kelly, you've had a wonderful person to call your mother. I remember asking my mom if I could be adopted by the Olsen family. When I got hurt at recess in kindergarten and ran off the school grounds, did I run home? No, I ran to the Olsen's place. Faye washed up my knee, gave me a snack, and put my in Lori's bed. When I saw Faye last at Clyde Rasmussen's funeral, she and Roy came rushing up to me and hugged me and neither of them...

What a great friend and neighbor Faye and the entire Olsen family has been! Christ called such people the "Salt of the Earth". On behalf of the entire Swenson family we wish our condolences to you all. Thank you Roy, Lori and Kelly for being such great friends.
