I believe this is the Faye E. Thornton of Ohio with whom I worked in the Second Congressional District of Iowa (Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, etc.) in the 1980 election cycle. Faye was a force of nature: laser-focused dedication to her causes and candidates (especially including Senator John Glenn), extremely sharp-witted, and fascinating to be around. I have missed her for 25 years.

Remenber traveling to aunt Faye's for visits as a kid. Loved her humor, the way she would chuckle, and how eyes gave away her thoughts. We ill miss her.
