Federico Sanchez

Federico "Freddy" J. Herrera Sanchez, age 46, of Las Cruces passed from this life on Wednesday, January, 17, 2018 at La Posada Mesilla Valley Hospice surrounded by his loving family. "Freddy", as he was known to family and friends was born August 24, 1971 in Los Angeles, California to Federico and Josefina Sanchez Herrera. He worked in construction as a laborer and was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Those left to mourn his passing include his loving wife, Brigette Ceniceros Herrera of the family home; one son, Randy Lee Ceniceros; a daughter, Deanna Marie Herrera; and his parents, all of Las Cruces; three brothers, Ralph Sanchez, of Roswell, Danny Herrera and Fidel Sanchez; a sister, Blanca Reyes all of Las Cruces. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Andre Ceniceros, Adali Morgan, Marcus Rupe and Kevin Chavez as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Freddy will begin at 6 PM Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Baca's Funeral Chapel, 300 E. Boutz Road where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Basilica de San Albino, 2070 Calle de Santiago in Mesilla. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery, 760 S. Compress Road where he will be laid to rest in the family plot.
Serving as casket bearers will be Randy Ceniceros, Jesus Mendez, Cesar Maurico, Danny Herrera, Rafael Sanchez, Abelardo Chavez and Danny Herrera, Jr.
