Dear Steve and Children,

You do not know me, but I grew up at Whitesburg Baptist Church with Felecia and graduated two years behind her from Grissom. Felecia was a very important part of my life during high school and helped me grow closer to the Lord during that time. She was always such an inspiration to everyone around her. I thank the Lord for the privilege of knowing Felicia, and I thank Him for you Steve, for Lydia and Bill. Words cannot convey how deeply saddened I am for you, the children, and the whole family, but please know we have been praying for you all. Dear Steve, I just found out about Felicia today at work. My heart aches for you, your family, and The Brook. Felicia was such a special person. I have very fond memories of her both from high school and from Willowbrook and The Brook. I am so sorry I was not able to be there for you, Lydia, and Bill.
