Owens and Brumley Funeral Home - Wichita Falls Obituary

Felicitas Canales, 64, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019.


A Rosary and Vigil service will be held at 5:00 p.m. followed by a family visitation until 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.  The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Rite of Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.


Felicitas was born on November 22, 1954 in Miguel Auza, Zacatecas to the late Pedro Andrade and Elisa Rodriguez.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Felicitas enjoyed listening to music and dancing, and loved making jokes and seeing others smile and laugh.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly.


She is survived by her husband, Mauro Canales; seven children, Julio Vielmas, Jose Santiago Vielmas, Arnulfo Vielmas, Maria Carmela Vielmas, Francisco Vielmas, Brandy Martinez, and Elisa Renee Canales; twenty-four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
