Felipe J. Prestamo

Felipe's arrival at the University of Miami School of Architecture could not have been more timely.

Our class, his first, included a large number of Cuban students who were merely ten years old on January 1, 1959. During the 60's we had dealt with adolescence, by the early 70's we were all slowly growing into adulthood and had survived the feared third year of architecture.

School of Architecture, and today I realize I am a better professional because of your example.....thank you so much, Felipe, for your love and dedication to all of us; we were truly priviledged to be called your students....
