OGDEN, Ms. Felita Lynese -age 55 passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 31, 2014 with 10:30 am family hour at Refuge Temple Church of Flint, 4400 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint, MI 48504. Pastor Seon Thompson officiating. The final resting place for Ms. Ogden will be RiverRest Cemetery, Flint, MI. Calling hours are 10:00 am -6:00 pm on Thursday, May 29 and Friday, May 30th, 2014 Serenity Funeral Chapel.

Ms. Felita Lynese Ogden was born September 10, 1958 in Birmingham, Alabama the daughter of Gwendolyn and Fred Ogden. She was employed at Genesee Health System for 14 years in various positions. She was a member of Refuge Temple Church since March 2011. She graduated from Flint Northwestern High School in 1976 and from Jordan College in 1989 with an Associate Degree in Social Work. She was compassionate, understanding and caring for people with various needs. She enjoyed making gift baskets, buttons, candy for everyone and playing cards. She was a very loving, caring and giving mother, grandmother and friend. She was her daughters best friend. She had a big heart and was always looking out for others before herself.
