ARTOLA, Felix O. Felix O. Artola, 69, of Hartford, died peacefully on Thursday September 13, 2007. He was born on February 21, 1938 in Lima, Peru, son of the late Maria Lopez and Dimetrio Artola. He was a resident of Connecticut since 1959. Felix had worked at the Hartford Insurance Company and retired from Pratt & Whitney. He attended the Hartt School of Music where he mastered the art of playing classical and flamenco guitar and he was also an avid tennis player. He is survived by his sisters, Aida Valdivia and Eva Ciudad, both of Hartford; and his brothers, Raul and Antonio Valdivia, both of Peru; also many nieces and nephews in Connecticut and Peru. The funeral will be Monday, September 17 at 9:15 a.m. from the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 79 New Park Ave., Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday, September 16 from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. To share a memory with the family please visit www.dillonbaxter.com.
