Single Memorial Tree

For Felix's Granddaughters. I woke up the other day to catch the sunrise. Took a few photos, one of which I shared. A memory came flashing by, as these things do, a great one, of Grandpa dancing up and down the stairs to his den in his Yankee sweatshirt "See I'm fine?" In that moment he was and you will be too. To my P.S. 133 Principal Mr. Berman.....45 years laterI remember a man who never judged, and I can say that the world needs more of you. I remember you as 1 of very few that actually cared about his students..... and of course, we talked baseball because you knew I loved to play. Thank you, Sir... for ALL the inspiration you've given me... May you S.I.P.

Phil was a sweetheart and I cherished his friendship and valued him as a colleague.

May his memory be for a blessing.

I remember Mr. Berman very well due to the fact that he had both of my twin sons in his classes in PS133. My sincere condolences to his family at this sad time.

Always nice conversations at Wantagh Park for the last 2 years or so. Felix spoke so highly with love for his children and grandchildren and beloved wife. He will be missed. Here´s a photo I took of Felix and Tony taking a walk in the park
