FELIX J., suddenly Feb. 19, 2009, a retired Budd Company employee. Beloved husband of 59 years to Helene (nee Kanarski), loving father of William (Marilyn), Robert (Miriam), Richard (Florence), Dorothy (John) Scanlon, Mary (James) Duffield, Barbara (Thomas) Lawler, Joan, Thomas (Narmin), Michael (Duckhee) and Stephen; also survived by 17 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a sister Melanie McGeehan Sharpe. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Sunday eve 6 to 9 P.M. and Monday 8:30 - 9:30 A.M. at BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (So. of Grant Ave.); followed by his Funeral Mass 10 A.M. St. Katherine of Siena Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road- 2nd Floor, Princeton NJ 08540; or Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1 Reed St.- Suite 200, Phila. PA 19147.

I have known and Loved Uncle Felix (aka Uncle Figgus) for 52 years and I am a better person because of it. He was a real man and great role model to us all, a real life "man's man". Tough as nails yet kind as a person could be. My memories of Uncle Felix range from scolding me for bad behavior to showing me his garden and what all was planted and coming to season.
