My deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family. This is such very sad news. I lived on the corner next to him in York County on Heaven's Way in the early '90s. Ferd was a very fine young man. I remember working with him on detailing his car and playing basketball with him and his friends in the driveway. I also remember working him on ideas for his senior prom and where to take his date on that exciting night.

Ferd.... I am so encouraged to have known you and your family. All of my memories of you are filled with laughter and joy. Your jokes are still etched in my mind - especially your obsession with "Ligers" . My heart aches knowing what I now know. That our shared time was so short. My family has known Ferd since back in his GameStop days.Ferd always had a smile when we would come in. He was always friendly and took the extra time with my two sons and any of their friends that be May be a long with us. My boys love Ferd so much that we would follow him from store to store. If he was tired or not in the Best mood he would never show it. It grieves us now that this has happened. The world truly has " lost one of a kind".
