Not sure what to say?

Today marks 10 years since the passing of Reid; nearly a year since my seeing and conversing with his brother, Hon. Jim; and 16 years after WFB, Jr. was taken from us. All three were my central senior friends and mentors; as remain their whole generation of Buckleys, The First Family of American Conservatism. Benefitting by my association with Reid, Bill and James L. in separate capacities is my life's greatest privilege; and more proof that there is a God.

You have my deepest sympathy. May the words of Phil. 4:6,7 strengthen and encourage you during this difficult time.

I attended The Buckley School of Public Speaking in 2006. From that moment, I regarded Reid as my mentor. He pushed me to write with clarity and speak with conviction and authority.

Reid was passionate about writing and speaking … and held everyone to THE highest standard. He demanded and inspired you to achieve your full potential.

Since my time with Reid, I've written three books … one of which, "No-Compromise Leadership," won the 2010 IPPY Award for Business and Leadership....

Reid will always have a part of my heart. Requiescat in Pace, and may his family be consoled and wrapped in Our Lady's mantle.

I am honored to have studied Public Speaking under Reid. He was an important part of my professional development. My sincere prayers for his family.

Reid Buckley, Sr. lives forever, and his legacy as teacher and friend inspires countless others to seek the life of effort. Via con Dios. Ron Docksai

Our condolences. Mr. Buckley was an inspiration to many. What a great mentor!

I HAVE NEVER MET REID BUCKLY, BUT HE PURCHASED MY MOTHER'S SHARE OF OUR SANDY GROVE FARM NEAR CAMDEN, SC. MY BROTHER WAS GEORGE BARNES AND I AM HIS SISTER AS LISTED BELOW. I WAS DELIGHTED TO LEARN THAT THIS PRECIOUS PIECE OF PROPERTY BECAME REID'S.

I will never forget the grace that he presented when I first met him. I was amazed that by being such a successful man he was also receptive and kind to those of us who had always admired the Buckley family. A man of honor and sweetness. I was just an airport screener but in his presence I was someone special. My prayers and love go with his beloved family and friends.
