Mr. Ferlin Husky, I love your southern American country sound and the song you sang, "On the wings of a Snow White dove" is that I love it! Me and my Dad enjoyed seeing you on tv in the 60s and as a child that song brought joy to me and directed my thoughts to God the Holy Spirit, for the Snow White dove represents the Holy Spirit that comes from Father God and his undefeated Champion, his Son , Jesus Christ. I grew up with Ferlins name all around me. He was a friend of my Dad John T. Hodges Sr. My father was raised in Gumbo, MO near Leadwood, MO. My dad use to go hunting with him. When my Dad was in 11th great he quit school and joined the Merchant Marines with some others from Gumbo area. My Mom was born and raised in Leadwood, MO. Ferlin use to swing my mom in an old tire swing and sing to her. Mom would tell him when are you going to learn how to sing. His last free concert in Leadwood before...
