Fern Griffin

We are saddened to hear of Fern's passing. She was a great customer and a wonderful person. I will always remember her incredible spirit, even though she was obviously in a great deal of pain. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Fern and her family.

Ms. Griffin, you were my second grade teacher in the very early 70's. I never forgot my roots on why i am where i am today, without her teaching. There are many teachers in Richmond that have helped me and you were one of them. Rest in peace and may god give the family the strength in this time of grief. God Bless you! Ken Rabine

Ms Griffin was my second grade teacher back in '76-'77. She was a kind, caring educator, who joins many of my former Richmond teachers, who influenced my decision to also become a teacher. I am grateful for your guidance. Prayers and peace to you.

Fern was my Fourth grade teacher at Will L. Lee, and many years later when I began work as a custodian at Richmond Schools she remembered me and was a friend, who used to ask me how my sons were doing, knowing I was raising them by myself. So sorry to hear of her passing.
