Not sure what to say?

Fern was a wonderful woman, who will forever be remembered for all that she did for the Eudora community. She started the Eudora Area Historical Society and served as its first President in 1980. Without her work for Eudora's history, we would never have had a historical museum. She was a sweet, caring, thoughtful and intelligent woman. She was a dear friend. I will miss her profoundly.

Mary & Family, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Know she was dearly loved. What a blessing to know you'll see her again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Fern Long @ 100 years

Fern is one of the most inspirational people I've met in my life. Yes, Fern was my Sunday school teacher at the Eudora Methodist Church. Mary & family, what a special person Fern was. She was always helpful to others. When my mom (Katherine Zinn) was in the last stages of her cancer, she brought us a delicious entire meal & checked on mom frequently. She put together a special tribute to mother for the Deborah Circle. So special. You were fortunate to have Fern for such a long time. She poured out so much love to all of her family & friends. I just received a letter from her at the end of April. Had planned to visit in June. ...

Blessings to you, Mary, and your family. Will miss your mom always being the encourager who never forgot her Sunday School kids. Rejoicing for her new home.

I was so sad to hear about Fern. Fern was such a big part of our community for so long. If anyone wanted to know anything about Eudora, she would be the first one to go to. Mary, we both have to be strong as we lay our mothers to rest. My and my family's love thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Sharron Harris
