Not sure what to say?

To the Family,
It was so nice to get reacquainted with Fern after first meeting at West Side High. We lived with your Mother and Dad in an apartment house as we finished at Purdue. Saw her through the years as we visited my sister Paula Woods, and so enjoyed her when we moved back to West Lafayette. Will miss her.

Dear Leslie,
What a shock to read of your Mom's passing. I really adored and was in awe, of all she knew about the Feast. It won't be the same without her.
My Mom died 25 years ago but it seems as if it were just yesterday. You will have so many memories of the two of you forever. I know from experience!
I still can't believe it but it will really hit me at the Feast.
We're both orphans now. :-(
Love, Shirl

Leslie and family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. She was a great lady and I know she will be missed by all. Keeping you all lifted up during this difficult time.

Our Condolences to Martin Family. She always seemed to be composed.

Dear Leslie and family, Fern was such a lovely lady. She will be missed by all. I treasure all she did over the years for the history community.

Leslie & Family,
Always looked forward to our visits every year at the Feast. Fern exuded class and dignity wrapped in warmth. Know that she is now forever young!! All our best.....Brian Bradley & Linda Marin

My deepest sympathy to all of Fern's family. I met her only a few times, but always enjoyed her company, intelligence, and bright, beautiful, life. Leslie is a close friend of mine, and through her, I feel blessed to have known and loved her mother Fern. Your family is, and will remain, in my prayers.

My sympathy to Fern's family and friends. We will all miss this warm and welcoming, intelligent, beautiful, and classy lady.

May all your happy memories of her bring you peace and comfort.
