Fern Williams

To Gail and Marla, I always considered you as my first cousins and loved our visits to you on Tacoma St which was the same name of our street in PA. Your parents were my Godparents and knew me from almost the day I was born! We kept in touch over the years and I went to visit them when I traveled up to MI. My Dad loved your Dad like a brother and I loved your parents like an Aunt and Uncle. I still make your mother's homemade granola (which I will pass on as "Fern's Granola.") Your Dad...

Fern and Ron were our great neighbors on Tacoma Circle. Such a lovely, interesting couple. They adored their children and were so very proud of their grandchildren. Once they, and then we, moved away we always looked forward to their Christmas letters! So fun! Super good memories of them both. Prayers to all. Life well lived!

Fern was positive and friendly by nature. Such a blessing to all who knew her. An "adopted" Kiwanian (her late husband Ron was the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor president, 1997-98) she was a valued volunteer, especially delivering Meals to shut-ins with Ron.
