Fernando (Chenano) Gabaldon

Fernando Gabaldon Ortega (Chenano), age 51, passed away on September 24, 2020 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was born on December 25, 1968 to Carlos and Timotea Gabaldon.

Fernando had a passion for horses and children. Every weekend you would find him attending horse races having a great time with his family and friends and somehow, he was always found to be surrounded by children as he always loved to entertain them and went above and beyond. Not once did he deny a child a candy, chips nor a toy.

He is proceeded in death by his father Carlos Gabaldon, his son Fernando Gabaldon Jr and brother Marcelo Gabaldon.

He is survived by his mother Timotea Gabaldon, his children and grandchildren; Victor Gabaldon and wife Jennifer (Danielle, Gabriel and Kylene Gabaldon), Karina Tovar and husband Rogelio (Kenya, Kayla and Rogelio Jr Tovar), Vanessa Gabaldon, Lizette Gabaldon (Yasmine Hernandez, Angel Sosa, Sarinna Stone and Nayeli Brito), Eric Dominguez and wife Valeria (Kailey, Ayleen, and Karime), his brothers and sisters; Armando Gabaldon, Matilde Martinez, Carlos Gabaldon, Cecilio Gabaldon, Maria Aleman, Ana DelaO, Eduardo Gabaldon, Soledad Ramos, Gerardo Gabaldon and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be Tuesday October 6, 2020 from 9 am to 9 pm with a rosary being held at 7 pm at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Dominguez, Raul Ramos, Larry Ramirez, Paul Gabaldon, Jose Luis Gabaldon, Jose Hernandez and Eduardo Gabaldon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Camilo Ramos and Anahi Alonzo.
