Feb. 5, 1928 - August 9, 2014 Finician Pettaway, Sr. 86, a native of Wilcox, Co., AL., and a resident of Prichard, AL., passed on August 9, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie George; father, Clinton Pettaway; and daughters, Virginia Williams, Parizetta Lewis, Brendolyn and Gwendolyn Pettway. He leaves to cherish his memory, Parizetta Carson, his "baby"; 5 girls, Pastor Savannah (Bobbie) Spears, Detroit, MI; Rose M. Pettaway, Pastor Paula A. Pettway, Rose M. Pettway, Adeline (Larry) Tabb and Angela (Jake) Lewis; 4 boys, Pastor, Finician (Pearl) Pettway, Jr., Willie James (Mamie) Pettway, Evangelist Michael (Diane) Pettway, Evangelist Albert Lee (Kristen) Pettway, all of Mobile, AL; 42 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Lillie Lee Pettway, Maxie Pettway, Pattie Smith and Adriene Gates, all of Mobile, AL., a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Nazaree Full Gospel Church from 9 a.m. until to the 11 a.m. Funeral Hour. Bishop Joseph Phillips, Pastor and Finician Pettway, Jr., Officiating Minister. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
