Not sure what to say?

To Finley's Family,

I had the privilege of working with Finley, sharing laughs with Finley, being touched by his kind demeanor and influenced by his professionalism. He lifted
everyone around him to a higher level. Not a day went by with an “Upwards and Onwards” once or twice. A wonderful person to have cross your path in life.
My sincere condolences.

Dear Varnie, Robbie and Cutler:

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. What a wonderful man he was. When I saw him at events, he would always smiled and asked how I was.

I miss him terribly. Take care.

To Finley's Family..
I was so saddened to know that Finley is no longer with us. I can honestly say that he was one of the best, if not the best, supervisors that I have had the privilege to work for and with. He had a gentleness that I have always remembered and kept close. His smile and laugh was infectious. He seemed to know everyone and they knew him. It was a warm feeling.
There are few words to ease sadness but I wish that these short memories can ease a moment of...

Dear Greene Family,

My heart is with you all at this dark and sad time of loss.

Finley was a wonderful and unique individual who touched many and whose influence will be transcendent. It will, as Chris alluded to at the memorial service, be, like that sunshiney day, a force that will brighten and warm us in ways that we may not predict, nor expect.

Forever sealed in my memory is Finley's smile, warm laughter and loving disposition. In fact, his sense of humor,...

This is a very sad time for my wife and me. Finley was a very kind and generous soul. His support and caring for the Arts and those who are in the arts will be missed. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Greene Family,

Finley was a marvelous person and a great friend of our family, as was his father Bob and his mother. Finley worked for my Dad one summer in our food brokerage business (Davenport-Webb) as a retail man covering Rochester stores (in the '60's) and after that did stuff for us with his Advertising Agency. My dad, Doc Davenport, and Bob Greene were great friends going back to the 50's.

My wife (Mary) and my mother (Jo and now 88 yrs old) offer our condolences. I...

To the family of Finley, Forty years of friendship was way to short. We were all blessed by Finley's caring and talented skills at building and making our community a much better place though his life's work. A very compassionate man and friend, he will be missed. Maura and Frederick Cohen

Our sincere condolences to Finley's entire family. He was positively the most kind, gentle, unassuming man. Love and prayers from the Battaglia family.

To the family of Finley - I want to express my sincere condolences - this is a tremendous loss I know for you, but also for our community. I had the privilege of meeting Finley in 1993 when I was hired as executive director of the King Urban Life Center and he its President of the Board. Finely was key to my ability to learn the best way to do my job, he was instrumental to my ability to grow as a professional and expanded my personal growth beyond measure. I could never thank him enough for...
