It has been a long time since I have seen Mr. Peek - or “Corky” as he was known by the adults/parents in our neighborhood. It was quite a wonderful place, our neighborhood in Binet Estates: parents who celebrated life together, and the children bonding as friends and playmates. I know that mom, when she was able, looked forward to visiting with Dorothy and Corky after they moved. The passage of Time is relentless; thank God we have fond memories to sustain us.

Mr. Peek, or Corky as my mom and dad called him was our neighbor while I was growing up in Citrus Heights. Debbie was one of my friends and we would all hang out together and get into trouble!
