Not sure what to say?

I sang in the choir at Citadel Square Baptist Church, with Fletcher. He had a great tenor voice and was one of the nicest peopleI I have ever known........a true gentleman, an honor to have known him.

I worked for Dr. Derrick, Jr. in 1992-1993 and he was a sweet, funny guy. Prayers to the family.

To the Derrick family:

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the departure of an incredible servant of God on this earth! What an impressive life history and we are very honored to have worked with him in medicine. He will not be forgotten!! We will keep you and the family in our weekly prayers and candle lighting ritual.
Warmest regards, Marta and Lex Hampton

I return for a second comment. I just finished reading Dr. Derrick's autobiography, Surgeon Spy. I am even more impressed how much this fine man did during his life on this earth. The book reveals quite a life story. It is amazing what he has accomplished. Bravo! John G. Black, MD

I'll always be thankful to Dr. Derrick because his surgery on my kidney helped me have two wonderful children. God bless you.

Martha, Mattie, and Carl,
I do not have your addresses but wanted you all to know that I have been thinking about you and your families during this difficult time. My deepest sympathy to you.

Martha, I have tried calling you, but must have the wrong number. Please know that we have been thinking about you. We send our most heartfelt sympathy. Fletcher was truly one of the kindest, sweetest persons we know. We only hope that your wonderful memories will get you through and that you will be back at the bridge table if we ever get through this awful virus. Hang in there and be safe. Our arms are around you.

Martha and children,
We were classmates in medical school and both of us were Youth Pastors at Citadel Square Baptist Church and part of the Outreach to College Students. Fletcher had many talents and he used the for the Lord. Your gardens we beautiful at both of your homes.
I finished medical school the year before I was supposed to graduate 1957 and can remember if Fletcher finished with us or in 1958.
Fletcher has left a wonderful Legacy for all to follow! My wife died five years...
