Not sure what to say?

Jerrie,
Michael and I wish to express our sympathy on the death of Fletcher. It seems like yesterday I met you and him at the Division. We really had lots of good times together with the Van De Riet twins at Buds. Remember. Way back.
In later years you taught my nephew's children to play the piano and they are quite talented. The Gerloffs of Chesapeake.
Bettie told us that Fletcher had been sick for some time. From what I read in his obituary he accomplished the most in...

Uncle Fletcher was the best story teller. As a child, when he would visit us in Baton Rouge, he would always have a joke to tell or some wild tale to spin. He and Aunt Gerry would take me to the TG&Y to buy a model airplane to build. When we would visit Virginia, Uncle Fletcher would always let me go to Kay's Bedding store with him to help. I still have the penny he gave me as wages for helping (with $9.99 taken out in tax). Those are the sweet moments I remember about Uncle Fletcher that...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Fletcher made such an impact on my life teaching me many lessons as a young girl that I have used through out my life. I will remember him as a strong man and I will miss him.

We feel fortunate that we got to know Fletcher through our association with Geraldine. Fletcher was always willing to take a moment to chat - to share his thoughts - and to hear yours. We will never forget seeing the loving look on his face as he watched his bride play the piano each year at the Christmas recitals. Those memories will live forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

In loving memory of my sweet, precious Uncle. You will always bring joy and smiles to my heart. I will miss your stories, your laugh, and the unconditional love that you always showed me. I will miss you Uncle Fletcher.

Fletcher was a "one of a kind" man. Always true to the Lord, his family and himself. He never failed to make you feel special as he was truly interested in your life.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

To the family of Fletcher Sawyer, my sincere condolences go out to you. I had the pleasure of visiting with him at the hospital and it was the best time that I can remember being in his presence. I think that he was ready to be with his Savior and may God Bless each of you.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
