I had her in the 7th grade and she made Kentucky History truly a living experience, She remained a dear friend thru my adult life and was a role model to many. She truly was one of the "teachers" of what life was about. I have many fond memories of both She and John Bill and the family has my prayers.

I shall truly miss Flora. She was a charter member of Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma and a friend and supporter of my mother, Sally Hill. More than that, however, I counted her as my special friend. She always had good things to report and loved to laugh. Heaven will be a little brighter for her presence, but Earth will never be quite the same without her. There will be an empty spot for me every time I come to Berea, her town.
