Flora R. Garrison

I miss Auntie Flo,in so many ways. She was the youngest of my mom's(Earlene) sisters. We had such great times together and shared so many fun memories! But most thanful for the time we had on this planet. I think of her quite often,and smile!

I love and miss my aunt.aka, Flo-Jo,Florita,Aunt Flo. She was and forever will be in my heart! I miss our phone calls and jut stopping by her house.to sit and chat and laugh. I loved sitting next to, or smiling across the sanctuary at, Ruth during church. She gave me a sense of the fullness of God's love, and her warmth and wisdom were easy to see. I was not prepared to say good-bye. I don't think I properly said "hello"; I just took her love and smiles in stride. I hope she knew (and that David knows) how much I appreciated knowing her and her family.

Ruth was one of a kind, and she made my life better. I think she made everyone's life so much better. Largely because she truly cared about people. She took time for family, neighbors, friends, strangers. She showed caring and compassion for everyone, kindness nad consideration. Even as I was her pastor a long time, she was often pastor to me. I so often saw in Ruth, the face of God... the hands and feet, the body of Christ. She will be deeply grieved, and sorely missed.

Flo was the kindest neighbor, always ready to help us out in any way she could. She was so special and will be greatly missed by all of us on Goldfield Dr.
