She is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Frances Proffitt and her daughters, Shirley, Kim, Pam and Louise and Louise's daughter, Tiffany, who knew Flo as "Grandma"; and her very special friends, Ethel Gibson, Jean Booker and Hollis Profitt. She was preceded in death by her sons, Donnie Peyton and Roger Lamb; and her brothers, Cory, Sanford, Bee, Ellis, Thurman and Grover Peyton. The family would like to say a very special "Thank You" to the Hospice of the Piedmont and especially the Hospice House where all of the staff and caregivers helped to make the last seven months of my mother's life the best it could be. A memorial graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Monticello Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
