Sweet Flora I loved her so! My husband Jimmy Burke, the golf pro at Champions Golf Club met Flora and sent her to meet me. She arrived at my front door bringing home made cookies! We became friends instantly and remained so for over 50 years. My love to Bill and family. Her sad friend, Toni Burke

So sad to hear of Mrs Flora´s passing. Words just can´t suffice our expression of grief and sadness. She was truly a "Steel Magnolia" and eloquently exuded the southern charm she was known for. Wishing this great family peace, comfort and courage in this difficult time from all the Waycross Chaney´s. Her charm and tender heart is surely missed. Big Jack has a golf partner in heaven now. God bless!

Mrs. McClarin was the kindest, sweetest lady. I waited on her for 20 years at the post office in Waycross, Ga. She once liked the color lipstick I was wearing and wanted to know what color it was. She went and bought her a tube and told me she loved it. I will always treasure my memories of her.

RIP, dear sweet Flora. As we Celebrate your Life there are so many wonderful memories from first grade on through the years. Your were the epitome of a true graciois Southern woman, and I am Blessed to have known you and your family. You will be missed. Gloria Fechtel Andrew
