Mrs Ransom was my second grade teacher at Fairgrove and she left a lasting impression on me. I was sorry to hear of her passing, but I know she is in a better place.

Dearest Cheryl, I just saw the notice today of your moms passing. She was a gracious and beautiful woman. What I remember most about your mom is wherever or whenever I saw her she would hug me and make me feel as though I was the only one in the room. She was wonderfully and amazingly created to lift the spirits of others up. Darlene Holmes Ransom

Ms. Flora Nancy was a childhood friend of my mom's, Lee Ellen Jacobs. My mom always spoke fondly and lovingly of Ms. Flora Nancy and her whole family. My condolences to the Chavis-Ransom family, you all have lost a special lady. May you all find comfort knowing you will be together again.

My deepest sympathy to Betty Ann, Cheryl, Angela, David and family. Your Mother was a very sweet, kind and caring lady. I am so glad I was able to meet my Great Aunt Flora and spend some time with her on my visit. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
