Florence Yee-Ping An

Florence worked in my lab at UM for many years. She was one of the nicest and hard working people to ever work in my lab. She is dearly missed and my heart goes out to her family. Don Clewell retired professor

Florence was always very caring and kind to me and my two children; even making them each a Halloween scarf while she was undergoing chemotherapy! Her smile and laughter will be missed. My heartfelt sympathies to her loving family.

Florence always treated me as though I were someone precious and special. In her presence, I blossomed into a more loving and thoughtful person. I am a secretary in the department in which she worked for many years, and her walking into my office would automatically make the day better and happier. I still have the silly little pins she gave me at Christmastime the last few years before she retired. I plan to wear all of them to the department holiday party and tell people that they are in...
