Nancy and Gail:
I'm so sorry to read that your mom passed away. Several times in the last few years, I've thought about calling and asking if she would share some of her memories of living at 66 Henry St in Hartford - I regret not acting on my thoughts. I have a couple of snapshots of us as children, and remember playing with both of you. My dad always spoke very highly of your parents and I believe our dads worked together. We are truly sorry for your lost. Florence was a wonderful neighbor, I'll miss her calling out my name to say hello when I'm outside. My mother will truly miss her crossing the street to say hi to her while she sits on the porch. Lets all thank our higher power for allowing us to know Florence Astoria, a good neighbor.
